We've got some great weekend markets on the doorstep; Broadway Market on Saturdays is a foodies paradise, whilst Sundays are for the Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane Markets and Spitalfields, all colourful, noisy and full of life. London isn′t green? We've got Weavers Fields round the corner with its own woodland, Bethnal Green Gardens close by and the great Victoria Park - the lungs of the East End - is only a few minutes walk away. We even look out on to a community garden, tended by a thriving local gardening group. The bus and Underground links are excellent; and yet you can cycle or walk into the City of London in less than half-an-hour - laugh in the face of tube strikes!
