What do you love most about your home?

We love spending time in the garden in summer, the cherry tree blossoms in spring, and offers enough shade from the south facing aspect when the weather is really hot. We worked, exercised, and barbequed out in the garden amongst the flowering plants and fragrant lavender. In the winter the underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom come into their own, and the larger than average rooms mean you don't mind spending time indoors when the days get shorter and it's great for having friends and family over.

Why are you moving?

We are so sad to leave, we couldn't think of a better place to live in this part of our life, however we are now moving closer to family.

What do you love about the area?

Definitely it's the wonderful neighbours we have on the street, we have only lived here a couple of years and are already part of the community. There are also the great pubs, restaurants, tap rooms, and local shops in Walthamstow Village and on Wood Street. Having access to Epping Forest on the doorstep has been a godsend during lockdown, with Hollow Ponds boating lake only minutes walk away. The street being a cul-de-sac means there is little street traffic, there is also a plan to make the street a play street. The large new open plan trains from Wood Street Station (with wifi and USB charging!) make getting to Liverpool Street or Walthamstow Central a dream.
