What do you love most about your home?

We love the natural light in our home. On a sunny day with the light coming through the shutters into the kitchen, it makes you feel like you're living in an Italian farmhouse in the countryside. The period fireplaces, coving and cornices makes it a truly unique place to live bursting with character. The finishing in this home was one of the first reasons we fell in love with it. It's an amazing space to entertain friends and family both indoors and out with the large, high-ceiling living room and open plan kitchen. There is just so much space for a one bedroom flat and potential to extend.

Outdoors, the south-facing garden gets uninterrupted sun all day and is especially beautiful in the Spring when the Camellia and cherry blossom tree come into full bloom. We've had so many barbeques and lazy days in the garden (even some workdays outside) from Spring through to Autumn. Being away from the main roads always keeps it quaint and private.

What do you love about the area?

Walthamstow Village is the best place to live. There are some seriously great places to eat (highly recommend E17's chicken burger), to drink (Wildcard brewery, Mother's Ruin, The Nags Head - full of cats and Bowie), and probably the best Spar in London for your food shopping. All are quite literally a stone's throw from the flat. We just end up popping out for a beer or a bite all the time.

We're a short walk to nearly all the amazing outdoor spaces: Lloyd Park, Epping Forest, Hollows Pond, and only a short cycle away from Hackney Marshes and Wanstead Park. The overground at Wood Street and underground at Walthamstow Central are equidistant with a 10 minute walk to each.
