What do you love most about your home?
Our spacious dine-in kitchen is the heart of this home, and where we all naturally convene at the end of the day. The secluded garden is a haven in summertime, while the woodburning stove in our living room provides much-needed R&R in the colder winter months. What's not to love?
Why are you moving?
We are moving to relocate to Scotland, to head back to our roots, but will miss Walthamstow - and Howard Road - dearly!
What do you love about the area?
Walthamstow is our favourite place in London and we have fallen in love with the friendly community of neighbours on Howard Road. We think it's the perfect location - we're just a few moments from the village which is perfect for that Sunday stroll, while also being a hop, skip and a jump from Lloyd Park, with its beautiful gardens and the William Morris Gallery. Nearby Hoe Street offers an abundance of cafes for your flat white fix, while the High Street and tube stop is five minutes away.
Accommodation comprises entrance hall with access to understairs storage, leading into the bright and spacious reception room with attractive front aspect shuttered bay, feature wood burning stove, stripped wood flooring (evident through much of the property), and ample space for relaxing and entertaining. The separate kitchen/diner to the rear of the property offers wonderful open plan space with door out onto the private garden - ideal for al fresco drinks and dining! The kitchen area itself comprises a modern range of matching white fronted wall and base units with work surfaces and metro-tiled splash-back, incorporating inset sink unit, gas hob with overhead extractor and electric oven below, and further space for appliances. There are two well sized bedrooms, plus a stylish family bathroom with white three piece suite and elegant tiling.
The property is enviably located within easy access of Walthamstow Central station, as well as regular bus routes, providing excellent connections into Central London, the City and the West End. The area is well served by an array of fashionable pubs, bars, restaurants and amenities, as well as cinema and restaurants at 'The Scene', and the beautiful open spaces of Lloyd Park - home to the famous 'William Morris' Gallery. Walthamstow Village is also close-by for a further range of stylish eateries, pubs and bars.
