Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home?

I love the amount of light in the flat, with the living space and the bedrooms all being south facing. The option of having a big second bedroom has been really great for me, giving me the option to rent it out to a friend and then subsequently to use it as a fantastic office for me work from home in.

The South facing balcony really gave me so much joy, being flooded with light and was always such a treat for sitting out on those long summer evenings with the lovely quiet gardens below. The concierge always made me feel so safe and looked after, taking in packages and managing the shared gardens and space beautifully. The gym next door and the allocated parking are a real bonus. The neighbours are friendly and the building is kept in excellent condition.

Why are you moving?

We are moving to be near my two sisters in Central London and to help with childcare.

What do you love about the area?

The transport options are a definite plus to this property, with Wood Street being a 10min walk and Walthamstow tube a 20 min walk (or short bus ride). Wood Street has a fantastic 20min link to the City (Liverpool Street) and Walthamstow Central brings you into the West end (Oxford Circus) in 22min.

I'm a keen runner and have loved the amazing green spaces for its running routes to Epping Forest, the Walthamstow Wetlands and Llyod park all very close by. It's been a thrill to spend Saturday exploring the Georgian Village Market in Wood Street which is a treasure trove of antiques, old records and retro goods. The area is a mecca of coffee shops, my favourite being Buhler & Co, a gorgeous vegetarian brunch spot, and lovely coffee spots such as COVE17 which also doubles as a barber shop.

We've so enjoyed exploring the local bars and restaurants of which there are many, Probably my favourite was the Bell pub for its charm and great food. Above all this area is warm and welcoming and I was struck quite early on living here how helpful and friendly people are here, it really does have a great community feel.
