I think Bromley is a fantastic location as working in the city, I have always had multiple options for getting into London easily but also benefit from the Kent countryside being so accessible. The Sundridge Park parade of shops are located at the top of the road and provide a range of independent shops and cafes including a great butchers and the Lavender House Cafe which does an amazing breakfast. For more options The Glades shopping centre is a 5 minute drive away. Bromley also has great fitness facilities and loads of restaurants. One of my favourite things in the area is Beckenham Place Park which is again just a 5 minute drive away, but gives you access to a stunning open space, with an outdoor swimming lake and a mansion that hosts events throughout the year.
